Relative to the homicide investigation involving 7-month-old Kiyomi Parker, 19-year-old Ca’Marion Pawnell has now been charged with Murder 2nd Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child Resulting in Death, and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child 1st Degree.
This situation is sad all the way around. Not only did a 7-month-old baby lose her life, but now a 10-year-old is sitting in jail facing a first-degree murder charge, while another man is now behind bars facing second-degree murder charges connected to the case.
As with all criminal cases, the charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
