A case that shook the St. Louis area and gained national attention has finally reached its conclusion.
33-year-old Trenton Ivy has been sentenced to 42 years in prison after pleading guilty to killing his former girlfriend, 29-year-old Marquisha Williams, a mother of four.
Many may remember when Marquisha disappeared in December of 2023. Hundreds of people came together searching for her, hoping she would be found alive. Her body was later discovered in a wooded area.
On Monday, Marquisha’s loved ones packed the courtroom as Ivy pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and three additional charges. He received 30 years for murder plus another 12 years on the remaining charges.
Nearly three years later, her family finally has some justice, but four children still have to grow up without their mother and father 💔
