We were just sent one of the most heartbreaking and horrific videos we have ever seen in the history of The New Real STL News.
A woman could be seen lying unresponsive near a gas pump while a small child screamed and cried for someone to help his mother. Another man was also seen lying on the ground fighting for his life.
What made the situation even more disturbing was watching people stand around recording instead of immediately trying to render aid or comfort the child. The sound of that little boy screaming for help is something we truly cannot get out of our heads.
Hearing him cry out, “Somebody help my mama,” while she laid there unresponsive was absolutely heartbreaking.
Ferguson Police, Fire, and EMS personnel responded to the 1000 block of South Florissant Road following reports of a shooting. Multiple agencies assisted at the scene, and authorities confirmed at least one person sustained injuries.
We are praying deeply for that little boy and everybody impacted by this tragedy.
