37-year-old Arthur Kinnard Jr. pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 20 years in prison Friday in connection to the sexual assault and robbery of two men he reportedly met through social media.
According to prosecutors, Kinnard pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree sodomy, two counts of second-degree robbery, third-degree assault, and two counts of recklessly exposing another person to an infectious disease.
Court documents state the first incident happened in December 2023 after a 35-year-old man connected with Kinnard online and later went to his Lindenwood Park home. Investigators say the victim was sexually assaulted, threatened with bear mace when he attempted to resist, and robbed of money.
A second victim, a 23-year-old man, told police a similar incident happened in January 2024 after meeting Kinnard online and going back to the same home. Prosecutors say when the victim tried to leave, Kinnard threatened him with bear mace before sexually assaulting him and stealing money and a necklace. He right where he need to be.
