A 25-year-old man has been arrested months after a dangerous Fourth of July incident in downtown St. Louis.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Adrian Scott was taken into custody more than three months after the viral video circulated showing someone throwing lit fireworks into crowded areas downtown including outside The Wheelhouse along South 10th Street.
Police said the video, which spread across social media, showed the man making disturbing comments before tossing the fireworks, sending sparks flying toward unsuspecting patrons. Scott now faces two felony charges: one count of promoting civil disorder and one count of armed criminal action.
Authorities say he was identified and arrested following a bomb and arson investigation launched shortly after the incident.
