24-year-old Elijah Treat has been identified as the pedestrian who was fatally struck in North County over the weekend.
According to the St. Louis County Police Department, officers from the North County Precinct responded to a motor vehicle crash just before 9:35 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in the 4100 block of North Highway 67 near Old Halls Ferry Road. When officers arrived, they located an adult male who had been struck by a vehicle while in the roadway.
He was transported to a local hospital for life-saving treatment but later succumbed to his injuries. Police confirmed that the driver involved in the crash remained on the scene and is cooperating fully with investigators.
