A 24-year-old man was fatally shot inside The Boom Boom Room in downtown St. Louis overnight, and baby… this is exactly why downtown clubs continue to struggle.
According to investigators, officers responded to the 1200 block of Washington Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Sunday after reports of a shooting inside the club. Police say two masked men allegedly walked inside after the club had already closed, opened fire on the victim, and then took off running from the scene.
The victim died at the scene.
It’s sad because people be wanting to go downtown, have fun, support businesses, and enjoy themselves. But situations like this continue to happen over and over again. One night out can turn deadly in seconds.
