22-year-old Zachariah Miller has been identified as the victim in a deadly shooting that took place on the night of December 17th in the Spanish Lake area.
St. Louis County officers responded to the 1500 block of Marbella Drive around 8:17 p.m. after a ShotSpotter activation and multiple reports of gunfire. When they arrived, officers found Miller and a woman, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
Miller was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. The woman was also taken to a hospital and is expected to recover, as her injuries were reported to be non-life-threatening.
No arrests have been made at this time. The St. Louis County Police Department is actively investigating the case.
