58- year-old Ronald Johnson has been sentenced to 28 years in prison after being convicted of second-degree murder in the death of his wife, Nancy Johnson.
The incident happened back in March of 2018 at their home on Itaska Street. Ronald originally stated that the two had been drinking when an argument escalated. Johnson admitted to knocking his wife to the floor multiple times.
Nancy Johnson was found strangled, bruised, and suffering from multiple brain injuries. She died at the hospital less than a month later. The medical examiner ruled her death a homicide.
At first, Johnson told police that his wife had simply fallen out of bed. But after being confronted with the medical examiner’s report, he confessed to the violent assault that ultimately led to her death💔
Nearly 8 years later her family is receiving justice.
