Authorities have charged 17-year-old Edward Townsend as an adult in connection with the shocking murder of 25-year-old Terrill Gurrly, Jr., whose body was found shot to death and unclothed in St. Louis’ West End neighborhood.
The incident occurred on June 21, 2025, and after a thorough investigation, the Circuit Attorney’s Office has issued multiple felony charges against Townsend, including Murder in the First Degree, Robbery in the First Degree, and two counts of Armed Criminal Action.
