A 52-year-old unidentified man was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash Monday evening in north St. Louis, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Officials say the incident happened around 5:45 p.m. as a driver in a 2015 Buick LaCrosse was heading westbound along Page Avenue near Gruner Place. The vehicle was reportedly in a turn lane when it hit the pedestrian.
After the impact, the driver fled the scene. The victim was transported to the hospital, but his injuries proved fatal.This case remains under investigation.
