Last week, District 4 officers carried out a targeted investigation into suspected illegal drug activity in the JeffVanderLou (JVL) neighborhood. After thorough surveillance, officers secured multiple search warrants and executed them at key locations tied to the investigation.
During the searches, authorities recovered a number of firearms and illegal narcotics, as shown in the photo released by the department. As a result, two men a 49-year-old and a 51-year-old were taken into custody and have since been formally charged.
