Missouri lawmakers are making moves that could change the way we drive across the state. The Missouri House has advanced a bill that would raise speed limits and remove most vehicle safety inspections.
If this passes, certain highways could see speed limits increase from 70 to 75 mph. At the same time, many of the safety inspections drivers are used to could be eliminated.
But before y’all get too excited or confused, this is not law yet. The bill still has to pass through the Senate and get final approval from the governor.
So for now, inspections are still required. Don’t get caught slipping thinking they gone just yet.
We’ll keep y’all updated as this moves forward.
