History has been made in Ferguson.
Adrian Shropshire has been elected as the city’s new mayor, becoming the first African American male to hold the position in Ferguson’s history.
This moment didn’t happen overnight. It couldn’t have been done without the community showing up, organizing, and putting in real work. From Trey L. Scott with Emerging Leaders to countless other organizations and individuals who had boots on the ground, this win reflects a collective effort.
This is what it looks like when people come together and push for change.
Congratulations to Mayor Adrian Shropshire on this historic win.
