Michael Cornell Jr., the current mayor of Riverview, has officially been charged with multiple sex crimes, according to newly filed court records. Information began surfacing online nearly three weeks ago regarding an alleged incident involving Cornell and a resident living in the City of Riverview.
Now, the charges have been made public and they are serious. Cornell is facing four counts of second-degree statutory sodomy, three counts of first-degree sodomy or attempted sodomy, one count of first-degree harassment, and one count of possession of child pornography involving film or videotape.
