The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a shooting after a 25-year-old woman was sitting in a car in the 2600 block of Rutger with a friend when she was shot.
The shooting occurred early Thursday morning around 4:30 am. Authorities said that the woman was shot in front of her 1-year-old. Thankfully, the baby was not injured.
The woman was listed in critical, unstable condition after she was shot.
