We’re saddened to inform the community that 37-year-old Carlos Strickland was found deceased. Authorities believe that his case may be connected with another homicide.

Authorities were responded to the 12600 block of Columbia Bottom Road Tuesday afternoon to find one man deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Shortly after arrival, police located the victim’s body in a grassy area near the road around 2:15 pm. Officials believe this incident may be connected to another homicide in which one male was found burned to death in South St. Louis.
