An active investigation is underway after a shooting at a gas station in South St. Louis. The incident happened at the Phillips 66 located in the 4300 block of South Broadway at a Phillips 66.
The New Real STL News began receiving calls and videos overnight showing a heavy police and emergency response at the scene. In footage that will be made available on our website due to its graphic nature, first responders can be seen attempting to render aid to a woman at the location.
At this time, it is unclear whether those life-saving efforts were successful, and the condition of the victim has not been officially confirmed. Authorities have not yet released additional details as the investigation remains ongoing.
What we do know is that if this incident results in a fatality, it would mark four homicides within a 24-hour period across the St. Louis area, raising continued concerns about the level of violence in the city.
