The man killed early Wednesday morning in the Central West End has been identified as 23-year-old Jardyn Walker. Police say Walker’s phone was pinged near the 4200 block of Olive Street around 1 a.m., prompting St. Louis Metropolitan officers to respond alongside University City police, who had been working a missing persons report. When they arrived, they found Walker with a stab wound to the torso.

He was pronounced dead on the scene. 27-year-old Jamaal Jones has since been arrested and charged with murder and armed criminal action in connection to Walker’s death. Walker wasn’t just another name he had started building a name for himself on the Zeus Network series Two Ways, appearing alongside Erica Mena.

Those who knew him personally say he kept people laughing and had a presence that stood out in any room. So far, police haven’t released many additional details about what led up to the tragic incident .
