Early Saturday morning, a man broke into a Circle K gas station in St. Charles and caused major damage just to walk out with a few beef sticks. Police say the break-in happened around 2:20 a.m. at the location on Caulks Hill Road.
When officers got there, they found the glass door shattered and the entrance covered in broken glass. Investigators say the suspect caused what they called a felony amount of property damage, yet the only thing he took was a misdemeanor amount of beef sticks. That’s it.
The suspect is now in custody. Photo credit: St. Charles County Police Department.
