Richard Neal III, the 10-year-old boy who had been fighting for his life since May, has sadly passed away . According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Richard succumbed to the injuries he sustained in a heartbreaking shooting that happened on May 24, 2025.
His younger brother, 9-year-old Jordan Neal, was tragically pronounced dead the day of the shooting. Both boys were innocent victims of a senseless act of violence that has shattered their families and friends🥹.
Now, just months later, their parents, Richard Neal Jr. and Johnisha Hillard, are grieving the unimaginable loss of both of their sons. No words can ease this kind of pain. Please keep this family lifted in prayer as they navigate a reality no parent should ever have to face.
