A high-speed chase that began in the City of St. Louis ended in North County with two juvenile suspects in custody.
Around 1 p.m. on Monday, officers with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s District 5 responded to reports of a carjacking near Delmar and Kingshighway. The suspects had reportedly stolen a red Nissan before fleeing the scene.
Metro Air Support quickly located the vehicle entering St. Louis County. Officers with the St. Louis County Police Department pursued the car into the Florissant area. The chase came to an end near New Halls Ferry Road and Highway 67, where two juveniles were apprehended without further incident.
The suspects are currently being held. Charges have not yet been released.
