18-year-old Demetrius Jordan and 19-year-old Donte’z Jordan are facing charges after police say a woman trying to get away from a reckless driver became the target of gunfire.

Florissant police say the woman was driving near Washington Street and Aubuchon Road on October 6 when she noticed a black sedan being driven recklessly. She told investigators the car began following her, and as she tried to get away, people inside opened fire. Her vehicle was struck twice.
Detectives collected 9mm shell casings and used surveillance video and license plate readers to identify the vehicle as a Buick LaCrosse, which they later located.
On October 25, officers encountered both men walking along Patterson Road. Police say each had a loaded 9mm handgun. Investigators say crime lab testing connected one of the recovered guns to shell casings from the shooting.
Both are charged with first-degree assault, two counts of accessory armed criminal action, accessory unlawful use of a weapon and accessory first-degree property damage.
According to police, both are being held at the St. Louis County jail on $150,000 cash-only bonds each.
