After six people lost their lives in crashes along Highway 367 over the past year, law enforcement agencies are stepping up efforts to make the roadway safer.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol has joined the Moline Acres Police Department and the Bellefontaine Neighbors Police Department in a coordinated traffic enforcement initiative along the Route 367 (Lewis & Clark Boulevard) corridor. The increased enforcement will focus on speeding, reckless driving, and other dangerous traffic violations that have contributed to serious crashes.
Officials say the goal isn’t simply to issue tickets, but to reduce crashes, save lives, and improve safety for everyone traveling through the corridor. Drivers are encouraged to slow down, obey the speed limit, and help make Highway 367 a safer roadway for the entire community.
