Carl Walker Jr. is now being charged in the murder of his 16-year-old son, Isaiah Walker, after prosecutors say he shot and killed the teenager following a verbal dispute in the 9100 block of Halls Ferry Road back in January of 2024.
According to court proceedings, Walker Jr. was found guilty of first-degree murder along with several additional charges, including armed criminal action, felon in possession of a firearm, endangering the welfare of a child, and tampering with evidence.
Investigators say Isaiah was shot in the head and left lying in the street after the shooting. Authorities also recovered a .45 caliber magazine containing Walker Jr.’s DNA from a trash can.
