We’re praying for the two teens who are critically injured tonight. We’re praying they pull through as they head for life saving surgery .
As a Black media platform, it’s one thing to speak on systemic racism. But it’s a whole different conversation when we start looking inside our own house and holding ourselves accountable.
We cannot keep acting like this is normal. Because it’s not. Our children are growing up thinking violence, retaliation, and trauma is just a part of life. And it’s not only harming them physically, it’s damaging them mentally in ways we don’t even fully understand yet. This is how cycles get created and repeated.
And to the teens out here beefing on Instagram, listen. That clout is temporary. Life goes on without you. When you’re gone, locked up, or paralyzed fighting to survive in a hospital or nursing home, them likes and comments will not matter. We’ve got to do better. For our kids. For our future.
