Today, 45-year-old Tange Davis will be laid to rest. A beloved St. Louis native, her life was heartbreakingly cut short nearly three weeks ago.
Tange was reported missing over the weekend of her death, after family and friends were unable to reach her. Days later, her body was discovered in Cobb County, Georgia. Authorities later arrested her boyfriend, 56-year-old Cecil McCrary, who has since been charged in connection with her death.
McCrary originally told investigators that Tange had been at his home in Georgia days prior but claimed he hadn’t seen or heard from her since. Sadly, her body was found just days later.
Today we lift her name up and pray for strength for her family and close friends. Only God knows how He pulls people through something like this, but we trust that He will carry them through the pain and give them the strength they need to endure.
Rest in peace, Tange. Your spirit will not be forgotten.
