We’re sad to inform the community that the 9-year-old girl who was found shot inside a burning home in the Walnut Park West neighborhood has died from her injuries. The woman who was also found inside the home is still fighting for her life.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, firefighters responded overnight Sunday to a home in the 5700 block of Floy. After putting out the flames, they discovered two gunshot victims a 45-year-old woman and a 9-year-old girl inside the residence.
