WOMAN STRUCK BY STRAY BULLET IN THE FOUNTAIN PARK NEIGHBORHOOD
A 57-year-old woman was struck by a bullet in the 4900 block of Fountain Avenue. She was lying in bed when a bullet came in through the wall and struck her in the back around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. She was transported to a local area hospital in stable condition.
Authorities believe that a gun battle may have occurred because a vehicle was found nearby that was shot up. We will follow the story as details become available.
