WHAT IS GOING ON INSIDE THE ST. LOUIS CITY JUSTICE CENTER? PREGNANT EMPLOYEE SAYS SHE WAS ASSAULTED BY A CAPTAIN WHILE CARRYING TWINS

A woman reached out to The New Real STL News with a disturbing allegation about what happened to her inside the St. Louis City Justice Center. She says she is pregnant with twins and was assaulted by her supervisor, Captain Cherry.

According to her statement, this happened on January 29 around 12:30 p.m. She says she was sitting in the cafeteria eating lunch and talking with Nurse Vassar when Captain Cherry walked up and started questioning her about being late. She explained what time she arrived and that she tried calling in earlier but the phone lines were down.

She says things escalated quickly. The employee told us Captain Cherry started pushing her in the head multiple times and even touched her face, fully aware that she is pregnant with twins. She described it as humiliating, aggressive and completely unnecessary.

She says that after putting her hands on her, Captain Cherry turned around and wrote her up for being late.

This employee is now calling for a full investigation. She says she does not feel safe, and she wants accountability for what she experienced.
