According to authorities, 12 people were shot Sunday night including a child that suffered from a self-inflicted gunshot wound around 6:20 p.m.
Around 5:30 p.m. one male was shot in his lower extremities at the Quik Trip located on S.Vanderventer followed by a double shooting that happened near the intersection of Linton and Emily. Upon approaching the scene authorities found the two men conscious and breathing a 32-year-old male was shot in the leg and a 47-year-old male was shot in the foot. Both victims were transported to a local area hospital in stable condition.
Around 6:30 p.m. one male was shot in the abdomen in the 4600 block of 20th Street his condition is unknown. 15 minutes later around 6:45 p.m. a 25-year-old male was shot in his lower extremities in the 1400 block of N. 9th Street he was transported to a local area hospital in stable condition.
Minutes later one male was found at the intersection of Ellenwood and Gravois. Homicides detective are investigating the shooting. Hours later around 9:05 p.m. three victims arrived at a local area hospital with gunshot wounds. Roughly twenty minutes one male was shot in the face at the 4100 block of Germania followed by a one teen girl grazed by a bullet in her leg near 1200 block of 14th Street.
