St. Louis City Fire Department and other various departments participated in a homegoing service for a fallen comrade.
Former firefighter Rodney Heard was being remembered. He passed away after dealing with complications from COVID-19.
Heard had worked for the Fire Department for over 25 years.
Visitation was held from 9am-11am. The funeral immediately followed at 11am. Services were held New Springs Church in Bellefontaine Neighbors.
