Maury Adams is being charged with manslaughter and armed criminal action following the altercation that took at the Quiktrip located in Ferguson. He is currently being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
A preliminary investigation revealed the two had a disagreement about a purchase and the victim not having proper identification. Subsequently went from verbal to physical and guns drawn. Both the security guard and victim were shot. Unfortunately , the victim would be pronounced deceased at the scene.
