At approximately 7:45 pm Monday evening, June 21st, a passerby observed an unknown object in the pond at the north end of Shaw Park.
Responding officers discovered a deceased male subject partially submerged in the pond. The decedent was recovered & no obvious cause of death was observed.
The body was transported to the medical examiner’s office for further investigation.
Officers are actively working to identify the subject.
