Emergency responders were called to the area of North 24th Street Friday night after reports of a shooting.
According to initial dispatch information, the victim was reported to have gunshot wounds to the head and chest. Despite the severity of the injuries, early reports indicated the person was conscious and breathing while emergency crews were responding.
The call came in around 10:39 p.m., but authorities have not released the identity of the victim, and the current condition remains unknown.
