MAN ROBBED, KIDNAPPED, AND ASSAULTED WHILE WALKING HOME
A man is alleging that he was robbed, kidnapped, and assaulted by two suspects while walking home from a south city bus stop. According to officials, the incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Friday in the 3600 block of Grand Blvd.
The victim claimed that two male suspects pulled him into a vehicle and demanded money as well as his cellphone. The two suspects later drove the victim to the 5600 block of Hodiamont in Jennings and struck him several times in the face with a gun. The victim was released and he notified authorities and was transported to a local area hospital.
