On Friday night a pedestrian was fatally struck while trying to cross the street in his motorized wheelchair. The incident occurred in the 9400 block of Hallsferry Rd. The vehicle involved fled the scene.
That particular stretch of Hallsferry Rd has a lot of senior citizen buildings. The identity of the victim is yet to be released. Real STL News will keep the community updated as the story develops.
