34-year-old Marrell Larkin has been charged with First-Degree Murder in connection with the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Jaheed Sharp in the Baden neighborhood.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened on February 4 just after 1:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of Peggy Court. Officers responded to a call for shots fired and located Jaheed Sharp inside a residence suffering from a gunshot wound. EMS pronounced him deceased at the scene.
The Circuit Attorney’s Office has charged Larkin with Murder in the First Degree, two counts of Armed Criminal Action, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. He is now facing serious felony charges as the case proceeds through the court system.
