She might be reppin’ Texas in Congress, but make no mistake Jasmine Crockett is from St. Louis and standing ten toes down.
The two-term U.S. Representative is exiting the House after her Dallas-based district was redrawn in a GOP-led redistricting move. But she’s not stepping down she’s stepping up.
Crockett just filed to run in the U.S. Senate Democratic primary, with her eyes on flipping the seat currently held by Republican Senator John Cornyn, who’s also facing heat from within his own party.
