Liam Greene is now facing charges after police say he made alarming threats while working at an apartment complex in Maryland Heights.
Greene has been charged with second-degree making a terrorist threat following an investigation into statements he made earlier this week at NEO Vantage Point Apartments on Boulder Springs Parkway, near Page Avenue and I-270.
According to police, the situation began Tuesday when Greene stated he was going to “kill myself and everyone else here.” A witness reportedly asked him to repeat the comment to make sure they heard him correctly, and Greene repeated the threat again.
The next day Greene made additional concerning statements , saying he felt nothing emotionally. After noticing a newly posted “No Weapons on the Premises” sign, police allege Greene stated he would bring a gun to work anyway.
When management learned about the statements, the property manager reportedly sent employees home out of precaution.
Greene later told officers he was joking and claimed he was being facetious about bringing a gun to work. Police searched his room and vehicle uncovered multiple firearms, including an assault-style rifle with optics, another tactical-style firearm, a loaded pistol, along with magazines and ammunition.
Greene is currently being held at the St. Louis County Jail as the case moves forward. Kuddos to the manager 🙌🏾
