A fatal crash occurred on Hwy 270 near Edwardsville, IL on Friday morning involving a two-month-old child.
The incident occurred shortly before 10am near a construction zone in the highway. One car was rear ended by another car causing the accident.
The person who was rear-ended did not accept medical treatment. The driver of the other car was taken to the hospital along with the two-month-old. The man sustained non-life threatening injuries however the two-month-old ended up passing away due to his injuries.
