DO WE HAVE A SERIAL KILLER IN ST. LOUIS? HERE’S WHAT WE KNOW

We’ve been getting flooded with messages and screenshots claiming there’s a serial killer in St. Louis.

I understand why people are asking the question. Over the past year, there have been several disturbing and unsolved cases. A woman was found in a trash bag in North St. Louis. Another woman’s body was discovered on Hall Street. When you start seeing multiple cases involving women and very little public closure, people are going to connect dots. That is human nature.

But as of right now, there has been no official confirmation from law enforcement that any of these cases are connected. No agency has announced a serial pattern. No press conference. No task force specifically tied to a serial offender.

What we do know is that St. Louis has a strong federal presence. The FBI is located downtown. The city operates thousands of real time cameras. Local, state, and federal agencies work together when patterns begin to surface. If there were confirmed evidence of a serial threat, it would not remain silent for long.

Ladies, be careful. Be on your swivel. Pay attention to who is around you, especially at gas stations, parking lots, and late at night. Lock your doors. Share your location with someone you trust. If something feels off, leave.
