A 31-year-old woman is recovering in the hospital after being shot in the face by a co-worker. On Tuesday around 4 p.m. authorities responded to the Family Dollar store located at the intersection of St.Louis Avenue and North Florissant.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect and victim began to engage in a verbal argument and things took a turn for the left. The suspect would pull out a firearm and shoot the suspect in the face. The unidentified female suspect would later be apprehended by officers.
