A homicide investigation is underway after 37-year-old Dolnesha A. Jones was found dead Tuesday inside her apartment in Brooklyn, Illinois.
According to officials, Jones was pronounced dead shortly before noon inside an apartment located on the 600 block of South 6th Street. The St. Clair County Coroner’s Office stated that she appeared to have died from suffocation, though an autopsy is still pending.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death.
