The McDonald’s located at 8700 Pershall Rd in Hazelwood has been slapped with an “Unfit for Human Occupancy” notice following an overnight fire that reportedly caused internal damages to the building.
City officials say the restaurant must undergo inspection and repairs before it can reopen to the public. The sign posted on the glass doors was placed by Hazelwood Code Enforcement early this morning, and it confirms that the property is currently unsafe.
No word yet on how long the repairs will take or if the business has a projected reopening date.
