RSTLNS responded to the 3*** block of Cherokee yesterday evening. Upon arrival, it was confirmed by an officer that one male was pronounced deceased on the scene. He was later identified as Jonathan Rubio Cruz.
At the moment there are no suspects. This makes St. Louis city 103rd homicide. According to statistics crime is down which is a good thing as Mayor Jones pledges to get to the source of the crime by offering mental health and mental trauma-responsive services.
