Authorities are currently investigating a shooting after a 12-year-old boy shot his mother’s boyfriend overnight in the head in north St. Louis. The shooting transpired just around 1 a.m. in the 3800 block of Sullivan. Police conducted a preliminary investigation and concluded that a woman and her boyfriend were engaging in a verbal dispute when the woman’s 12-year-old boy got a shotgun and shot the boyfriend in the head💔.
When EMS arrived the male victim was semi-conscious and breathing when he was transported to a local area hospital. The 12-year-old fled the scene and is currently on the run.
