Let’s give it up for Jocques Felix, a 6’4”, 275-pound powerhouse out of Cardinal Ritter College Prep and this week’s Athlete of the Week.

Jocques has been grinding through adversity most couldn’t imagine. After losing both his grandfather and father in the same year, many would’ve folded but not him. He stood ten toes down, held his head high, and dominated on the field. In just 7 games this past season, he racked up 49 total tackles, 23 solo, and averaged 7 tackles per game. A true anchor on the defensive line.
Originally committed to Iowa State, Jocques has now garnered offers from top programs like Kansas, Michigan, and Iowa State with Mizzou now stepping in and hosting him for an official visit today. They know what we know: Jocques Felix is that guy.
He’s not just an athlete. He’s a reminder that grief doesn’t define you grit does. With strength, faith, and raw talent, Jocques is making his name known across the country.
Salute to you, young king. Stay focused, stay grounded and keep rising.
