THREE CHARGED AFTER STEALING COPPER FROM ABANDONED NORTHWEST HIGH SCHOOL

23-year-old Ramon Williams, 28-year-old Ashley Logan, and 27-year-old Todd Wise Jr. are all facing charges after being accused of stealing large amounts of copper wire from the vacant Northwest High School in St. Louis. The three have each been charged with second-degree burglary.

Police say the incident happened Monday at a property on 5140 Riverview, which has been closed and fenced off with multiple “no trespassing” signs. A security team notified police after the building’s alarm system was triggered. When officers arrived, they were informed that the suspects had already been stopped with a significant amount of copper wire in their possession.
