18-year-old Simon Marx is facing several felony charges after allegedly robbing an Imo’s Pizza delivery driver at gunpoint and leading police on a wild high-speed chase. The incident happened on October 29. Investigators say Marx pulled a gun on the delivery driver near McKelvey Road, took the cash, and stuffed it into a backpack before taking off.
Officers later spotted him speeding away on a motorcycle, hitting 90 miles per hour and weaving through traffic. The chase came to a stop after Marx crashed head-on into another vehicle.
Court records show Marx admitted to the robbery. He’s now charged with first-degree robbery, armed criminal action, and aggravated fleeing.
